Owner:

Architect:
Powers Brown Architecture
Square Footage:
135,000

JonesDBR worked with Powers Brown Architecture on the design for the new Washington & Jefferson College – Ross Family Recreation Center in Washington, Pennsylvania. The Recreation Center is an addition to Henry Memorial Gymnasium, which has long been the home of athletics at W&J.

JonesDBR provided MEPT engineering for the new 30,000-square foot facility and a remodel area of 105,000-square feet. The new athletic complex is the center place for the transformation of Athletic facilities. It serves a need for students to have a place to play basketball, run or walk when the weather is inclement, and to release their stress. Features of the new athletic space include three indoor track lanes, three indoor multi-sport courts, yoga and exercise rooms, batting cages, pole-vault pen, indoor cycle studio, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, locker rooms, meeting rooms, and office suites.
